Bright Lights was founded in 1996 by Sarah Mally. It began as a discipleship group in her living room. She wanted to help prepare young ladies for their teenage years, and encourage them to serve the Lord during their youth.
As it began to grow, Sarah started putting together some training materials, and began praying that the Lord would raise up other young ladies to start their own groups. Since that time, Bright Lights has seen God’s hand of direction and blessing in many ways. There are now over 400 groups worldwide.
